Do you dematt the dogs, or just shave everything?
We only shave if the matting is too severe to brush through.
The majority of cases its easier to shave as it is less stress and pain for the dog. Imagine having the back of your head matted solid.. would you like someone pulling at it for over an hour to try and break it up? Humanity over Vanity.
Owners will be made aware before shaving.
When should my puppy come in for it first groom?
It’s important to have your puppy groomed as soon as possible so they can get used to and learn to love the grooming experience. We recommend they come in two week after their last set of vaccinations. We will not clip your puppy on their first visit, as the evolution from a puppy to an adult coat is dependant on the breed and a grooming regime will be suggested to suit your puppy. During their first visit your puppy will be introduced in a relaxed and fun way to the sights, sounds and smells of the grooming salon ensuring that future visits are stress free.
Will my dog be put in a cage or a cage dryer?
NO! We have a strict no cage policy. We do not have cabinet dryers, or use cages.
We are 1 on 1 grooming. This means no other dogs are in the van with us during your fur babies appointment, unless you have multiple dogs and they like to stay together.
Can I stay and watch, My dog is nervous without me?
As your dog loves you very much they will wiggle and move around trying to get close to you which is not safe while we are grooming. They act like toddlers leaving for nursery, once you've gone, you'll be surprised how much they calm down.
It is best to leave your dog with us in the van, and then come back when the treatment is finished. We are very happy to show the parents around the van so they can see where their dog will have their grooming before we start.
There is no need to worry, after all we only just outside your door.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and card payments.
We also have a VIP membership, which gives you your appointments for a year and spreads the payments monthly so it isn't so much to find each month.
Please message me for more details if your interested.
